A 24 YEAR-OLD MAN STABBED TO DEATH AT NKAMBAKO VILLAGE, POLICE NABS THE SUSPECT

NKOMBAKO VILLAGE – The Police in Letsitele under the Mopani District confirmed that they have arrested a 21-year-old murder suspect following the fatal stabbing of a 24-year-old man at Nkambako Village on Sunday, 10 May 2026.

According to the police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the police were summoned to a local Clinic after a victim was brought to the medical facility with stab wounds. Upon arrival, Police found that the victim had already been certified dead by medical personnel.

The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Dzunani Junior Ngobeni of Nkambako Village.

Ledwaba says the Information received indicates that the victim was allegedly stabbed at the gate of a homestead within the village before being transported to the clinic for medical attention.

Police acted swiftly and subsequently arrested the suspect, the following day of the incident.

The suspect is expected to appear before the Ritavi Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 12 May 2026.

Police investigations are ongoing.
