GA-MOTHOBEKHI | Matome Rasekele aged 45 from Ga-Mothobekhi, is kindly appealing to the public for urgent assistance. Matome lost his sight in the first week of March 2024 due to complications related to sugar diabetes. Since then, he has been to a public hospital multiple times but has unfortunately not received the help he urgently needs.
He is currently unemployed and lives with his 78-year-old mother. The two depend on her mother’s social grant for survival, which is not enough to meet their daily needs, especially considering his medical condition. His application for a disability grant at SASSA has been delayed and denied due to missing documents linked to an ongoing divorce process with his soon to be ex-wife, leaving him without any form of income or support as a result.
Matome is now in urgent need of private medical assistance, as his condition requires immediate attention. He is seeking financial support of R20,000 for medical treatment and an additional R1,500 for opening a medical file, bringing the total amount needed to R21,500.
He is humbly appealing to anyone who is able to assist with any amount for donations, to help him receive the care he desperately needs. Your support can make a meaningful difference in his life and help restore hope during this difficult time.
Those who are willing to assist can use the following banking details: Capitec Bank
Account Number: 1940808233
