GA-MAAPANA | Irene Matšie Ramalepe is seeking urgent public assistance in locating her daughter Queen Mahasha, aged 17, from Ga-Maapana in Ga-Kgapane, a grade 10 learner who has been missing since Saturday, 07 March 2026.
According to her mother, Queen informed her siblings before leaving home that she was going to fetch her phone from Setlhalakankani in Ga-Kgapane. However, when her mother later made inquiries, she was told that Queen had allegedly said she was going to fetch her bag at Ga-Kuranta.
Her mother says she has received reports from people alleging that they saw Queen at Kgapane Plaza and Mandela Park since her disappearance. She personally followed up on these leads and searched the places mentioned, but has never found or seen her daughter.
According to her siblings, Queen was last seen wearing a cream-white skirt, white Adidas sandals, and a black t-shirt. Her mother confirmed that after checking Queen’s belongings, those were the only missing clothes. However, some people claiming to have seen her alleged that she was seen wearing a black dress and black Carvela shoes.
The mother reported the matter to the police but she was allegedly advised that a missing person case could not be opened because people allegedly saw Queen around. She was advised to search for her in the places where she had reportedly been spotted, or bring her to the police station should she return home.
It has now been 12 weeks since Queen went missing, and her whereabouts are still unknown.
Anyone who may have seen Queen Mahasha or has any information that could help locate her is kindly requested to contact her mother, Irene on 0797745182.
Your assistance in helping bring her home safely will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
