A PASTOR WENT MISSING AT GA-MOKGOLOBOTO

GA-MOKGOLOBOTO : A 53 year-old male Pastor, Thabo Caiphus Malatji is being searched by the South African Police Service in Ritavi following his disappearance last month on Tuesday 27 January 2026 at about 19:00.

The victim left his wife while asleep at home in Mokgoloboto village intending to go fishing. Unfortunately, Malatji never returned home and has since disappeared and can not be located in relatives and surrounding areas.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the victim usually comes back from fishing after three days, but a member of his congregation allegedly informed his wife that he went to the mountains to pray for 21 days.

She waited patiently for that period, but he never retreated home until she decided to report him missing at the local police station.

Currently, there is no clear description of the type of clothes Malatji was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
