BREAKING NEWS | A teenage boy drowned in a dam created during stone mining at Ga-Maupa mountain in Bolobedu. The incident took place at about 16h00 today, Thursday, 05 February 2026.
The search for the drowned boy is currently underway by community members this evening.
The police are at the scene, and Search and Rescue police divers are expected to respond to the scene the following day, as they do not work at night.
