AN ELDERLY WOMAN AGED 109 WENT MISSING AT ROTTERDAM VILLAGE

ROTTERDAM VILLAGE: The Police in Hlanganani under the Mopani District are appealing to members of the public to assist in locating a missing senior citizen, Mphephu Betty Makhubelo (109) from Rotterdam Village, Phongololo Section, last seen on Thursday morning, 05 March 2026.

According to reports, she was last seen at approximately 06:00.when she left her residence to a nearby house where a funeral was taking place, but she never arrived at the said location and has not been seen since.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing yellowish Tsonga traditional attire. She is described as light in complexion, of medium height and medium build.

Police have since launched a search operation and are requesting anyone with information that may assist in locating her to urgently contact the Investigating Officer, Warrant Officer Xitiva S.E on 082 468 8673, or the Hlanganani SAPS Client Service Centre on 079 890 1408. Alternatively, information can be shared at the nearest police station or through the MySAPSApp.
