AN ELDERLY WOMAN AND A 4-YEAR-OLD BOY WENT MISSING AT ITIRELENG VILLAGE, SEKGOSESE

ITIRELENG VILLAGE | Two people, an elderly woman, Violet Maswanganyi, and her 4-year-old nephew, Mahlatse Maswanganyi, went missing at Itireleng village under the Sekgosese SAPS policing area.

According to the information received, the duo was last seen on Monday, 23 March 2026, at the village. The matter was reported to the police, Perfect Radio, and the community for assistance in searching for the victims.

Yesterday, Friday, 27 March 2026, the community contributed funds to seek help from a traditional healer in the Bolobedu area. The report indicates that the traditional healer told them to search the nearby bushes near the river.

Since this morning, Saturday, 28 March 2026, community members, police, and the station commander have launched a massive search operation for the two missing people.
