BREAKING NEWS | THREE BOYS RESCUED FROM DROWNING IN A LOCAL DAM AT GA-MAPHALLE

GA-MAPHALLE: Mafanela Matonsi is being hailed as a community hero after he has rescued three boys aged between 5 and 10 years in a drowning incident in a local dam (Dhedhembu) at Ga-Maphalle, today, 01 March 2026, at about 17:30.

Perfect Radio news received information about the four boys who went for swimming and three drowning in a local dam. Upon arrival, Mafanela Matonsi, who was passing by, was alerted to the incident and without hesitation, Matonsi entered the dam and rescued the boys alive.

Parents and guardians are urged to take extra care of their children to ensure their safety.
