COURT UPDATE: THREE TAXI OPERATORS ARRESTED FOR THREATENING POLICE IN MUSINA

MUSINA– Three taxi operators arrested for mistakenly threatening police officers in Musina appeared before the Musina Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 09 January 2026.

The incident occurred on Thursday, 08 January 2026, when members of the Limpopo Provincial Tracking Team, travelling in an unmarked vehicle on the N1, were unlawfully confronted and threatened by the suspects who believed the vehicle was operating without their permission.

The case against Tshifiwa Tshivula (49) was withdrawn.The two accused , Khuthadzo Munzhelele (32) and Eric Mdadza (38), were granted bail of R1 000 each. Their case was postponed to 27 February 2026 for further investigation.
