ESKOM IS EXPECTED TO RESTORE THE TRANSFORMER ISSUE AT GA-MATIPANE

UPDATE | ESKOM is expected to restore the transformer issue at Ga-Matipane following the address by the Municipality came and addressed the community at Ga-Matipane during the protest of yesterday, Thursday 15 January 2026.
They have reached an agreement that they will go and communicate with Eskom at Mokwakwaila. Eskom stated that they will come and conduct an audit on the the 15 January 2026 and further stated that they will restore the transformer on the today on 16 January 2026.
