LIVE UPDATE | The time is 00H07 on Sunday, 23 November 2025. The R81 road is now open following a fatal head-on collision between a double cap bakkie and SUV on the R81 road between Khesothopa and Maupa village at around 21h30.

A male individual and four others sustained serious injuries and rushed to the hospital.

The Limpopo Emergency Medical Services, firefighters, rescue teams, law enforcement officers and the Forensics pathology services responded to the incident.

Avoid drinking and driving at all times to arrive alive.
