FOURTH SUSPECT ARRESTED IN R10 MILLION INSURENTS MURDER CASE

POLOKWANE: Police have today, Tuesday 04 November 2025, arrested a fourth male suspect, aged 54, in connection with the R10 million insurance murder, fraud, and money laundering case involving former police officer, Rachel Kutumela and her family.
The suspect, who is the brother of the accused former Police Sergeant, was apprehended this morning at a around 11:00 in Molejie outside Seshego. He is expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 05 November 2025 facing charges of murder, fraud and money laundering.
The other three suspects, namely Rachel Kutumela, (43) her sister Anna Shokane (47), and daughter Florah Shokane (23)- remain in custody following their bail denial and ongoing court proceedings. The case has now been transferred to the Polokwane High Court.
