KUBUNE PRIMARY SCHOOL HOSTS GRADE 7 FAREWELL CELEBRATION

MAMAILA VILLAGE | Kubune Primary School recently hosted a heartfelt farewell celebration for its Grade 7 Class of 2025 on Monday, 01 December 2025 at Mamaila Village. The event marked a significant milestone as the learners prepared to transition to high school. Educators, parents, community members gathered to honor that Class of 2025 for their hard work growth, and achievements.

The celebration was filled with joy, encouragement, and reflection. Teachers shared inspiring messages, parents expressed pride ,and learners showcased their talents through captivating performances, including traditional Xibelani dance, Amapiano dance, Chacha dances, and speeches.

Guest speaker Ma’am Malatji M.H motivated and encouraged the learners, saying “let not your background define you, know what you want and set your goals straight.” She concluded by saying that education is the only weapon you can use to succeed.

Kubune Primary School used the occasion to remind learners that this farewell marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunities. The school also expressed gratitude to the community for its continuous support and the learners were wished success as they move forward into secondary school.

The event concluded with warm wishes, certificates or recognition, and a sense of pride that echoed throughout Mamaila Village. The class of 2025 left a strong legacy at Kubune Primary School and the school community looks forward to seeing them excel in the years ahead.
