KOOPE VILLAGE | The Limpopo Independent Movement Alliance (LIMA) donated two wheelchairs to two persons living with disabilities on Saturday, 21 February 2026, at Koope Village.
This followed after the LIMA president, Phazama Seunane, received information about an elderly woman who is unable to walk or stand up, making it difficult for her family to take her for check-ups and move her out of the house. The Mohale family shared their appreciation, explaining that the donation would ease the burden of having to carry her daily, which had been physically challenging for them.
LIMA members then visited a girl born with a leg disability who struggled to look after herself, as she slithered on the floor to get her basic needs met. The Lebea family received a wheelchair on her behalf and expressed their gratitude, stating that it would improve her daily life and mobility.
Speaking at the event, LIMA President Phazama Seunane acknowledged the difficulties faced by families caring for people unable to move on their own, emphasizing the importance of community support and compassion. He concluded his speech by encouraging people to support and join LIMA for the betterment of their communities.
