GA-KGAPANE | Mamatlepa Kgashane Primary School recently hosted a farewell event for Grade 7 learners class of 2025 learners on Friday, 14 November 2025 at Ga-Kgapane.
The event was to celebrate the class of 2025’s 8 years journey in Primary School as they transition to high school.
The Grade 7 learners looked stunning dressed in white shirts and jeans. Their celebration included performances that highlighted their different talents. Their performances included Xibelani dance , Sarafina dance, Amapiano freestyle and rendering of poem
The event was honored by distinguished guests, including principals from neighbouring primary Schools, principals from creaches, Rakwadu 2 circuit, and other important stakeholders.
The guest speaker of the day, former principal of Mamatlepa Kgashane Primary School, Rabothata ML advised the learners set goals for themselves and also work hard to achieve them. She also emphasized that parents should guide and support their children in this journey.
Top achievers from Grade 1 to Grade 7 were awarded for their hard work with certificates and medals celebrating their academic excellence. Learners who participated in Creative writing and Science Expo Competitions were also awarded with certificates.
