MAMELODI SUNDOWNS FC COLLECTS SECOND STAR

SPORT – Mamelodi Sundowns FC have been crowned champions of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2025/2026 on Sunday, 24 May 2026, at Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

After 90 minutes of play, Mamelodi Sundowns FC and AS FAR held each other to a 1-1 draw in the second leg of the final. The first leg of the final, played in South Africa at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, saw Mamelodi Sundowns FC win the game 1-0.

Mamelodi Sundowns FC has been crowned the champion of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League for the second time in its history after winning 2-1 on aggregate. They first won the CAF Champions League in 2016.

The team adds its name to the history of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and has also gained itself a second star to be added to the team logo.
