MAMOKGADI PRIMARY SCHOOL HOSTS GRADE 7 FAREWELL FUNCTION

MAMOKGADI VILLAGE | Mamokgadi Primary School hosted its Grade 7 farewell ceremony on Friday 31 October 2025 at the school premises. The event brought together educators, members of the SGB, learners, guests, and parents to celebrate the Grade 7 learners as they prepare to begin a new journey in high school.

Educators, traditional leaders, and parents shared words of encouragement with the learners, guiding and preparing them for the next chapter of their education.

Learners showcased their talents through reading, poems, and dances. Parents expressed their joy and pride by dancing, cheering, and clapping hands.

The Grade 7 learners also took part in a dress-up showcase, wearing outfits that represented the professions they aspire to pursue after matric. They explained to parents the steps they need to take to achieve those goals and the subjects that align with their future careers.

The school extended its appreciation to the Grade 7 learners by awarding them certificates for being part of the school since 2018, when they started in Grade R at Mamokgadi Primary. Learners from Grade R to Grade 6 were awarded certificates of achievement for securing top three positions in their respective grades, motivating them to maintain their academic excellence.

The farewell ceremony was filled with love, joy, and laughter as learners, teachers, and parents celebrated the Grade 7 learners and wished them success in their final exams.
