MATSWIDIKANYE PRIMARY BIDS FAREWELL TO GRADE 7 LEARNERS

GA- SEKGOPO | Matswidikanye Primary School recently hosted a beautiful farewell function for its Grade 7 learners on 06 November 2025 at Matswidikanye Village.

The event was held to celebrate and encourage the learners as they will be heading on to high school. Parents, teachers, and community members came together to show their love and support.

Sekgopo Matsorang Foundation donated exam stationery to all the learners and certificates to the top 3 achievers. He also promised to buy school uniforms for the top 3 learners who will be going to Grade 8 next year.

The Principal also showed appreciation by honouring the ladies who help with the feeding scheme and teachers with certificates of appreciation for their hard work and commitment.

Awards were handed out to learners from Grade R to Grade 7, including sports awards, to celebrate their effort and achievements. The event also included a beauty contest, which brought smiles, fun, and excitement to everyone.

Learners entertained the crowd with songs, poems, and dances, while parents cheered with pride and joy. The day was filled with music, laughter, and celebration, leaving everyone with wonderful memories.

The farewell was a huge success, and everyone left feeling proud and inspired.
