POLICE INVESTIGATES A CASE OF RAPE AFTER A MINOR GIRL RAPED AT GA-MOHLELE

GA-MOHLELE : The Police in Mokwakwaila are investigating a rape case involving a minor that occurred at Mohlele Village on Thursday, 02 October 2025, at approximately 23:30.

The police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, It is alleged that the complainant left her eight-year-old child asleep alone in a one-roomed house, with the door closed and locked. During this time, a suspect known to the child forced open a window, entered the house, and undressed and raped the child. He thereafter threatened her not to report the incident to her mother.

Upon returning home, the complainant was informed of the incident by the victim and immediately reported the matter to the police. The case docket was subsequently transferred to the Tzaneen Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit for further investigation.

Efforts to trace the suspect have so far been unsuccessful.
