PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUIRED TO LOCATE THE FAMILY OF THE DECEASED UNKNOWN MALE AT LETABA HOSPITAL

TZANEEN – The Tzaneen police together with Letaba hospital request for public assistance to locate a family of the deceased male who was hit by a car at R36 Tzaneen-Lydenburg road near plot 36 and VIVA filling station on Monday 01 January 2023 at about 19:50

The deceased is an adult coloured male believed to be in his 40s. He is light in complexion and he was wearing a pink crew neck T-shirt ,blue jeans and black socks but his shoes were not found on the scene .

The driver fled the scene.

The injured man was transported in an ambulance to Letaba hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

The Tzaneen SAPS communications officer Sergeant Maurice Nkhwashu says a case of reckless and/or negligent driving was opened bythe Tzaneen saps and a manhunt was launched for the suspect.
