RESIDENTS OF GA-MOTHOBEKGI AND POLASENG VILLAGE IN WARD 30 AND 21 ARE PROTESTING FOR A BRIDGE TO CROSS MOLOTOTSI RIVER

LIVE UPDATE | Residents of Ga-Mothobekgi and Polaseng village in ward 30 and 21 are currently protesting for a bridge to cross Molototsi river on road D3195 which connects Ga-Matipane to Ga-Maphalle. The Matipane road has been closed by protesters.
The community members says their village is isolation since they cannot access any essentials and emergency services.
They say while protesting the municipality officials deployed the police to shoot them with rubber bullets instead of taking the accountability.
