SENOPELWA PRIMARY SCHOOL HOSTS GRADE 7 FAREWELL CELEBRATION

• MATIPANE VILLAGE | Senopelwa Primary School hosted a special Grade 7 farewell event on 03 December 2025, bringing together learners, teachers, and parents for a memorable celebration.

 

Learners performed Sarafina, Khekhapa, Xibelani, Gumboots dance, and also delivered speeches. The programme highlighted the learners achievements and the school’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and positive growth.

 

Guest speaker Mr. T. Sekgota delivered a powerful motivational message, encouraging learners to stay focused, disciplined, and goal driven as they move on to the next level of their education. He emphasized the importance of respecting teachers, valuing education, and believing in their potential. He also urged parents and guardians to continue supporting their children’s education.

 

He concluded by saying, “Your dreams are within reach, and the decisions you make today will shape your future.” A Grade 7 learner also shared a heartfelt pledge, promising to always remember their teachers for their hard work and guidance, both in academics and in teaching them the value of hard work.

 

The principal, Ms. Mabitsela M.A, expressed her gratitude to the staff, parents, and community for their continued support. She praised the educators for their dedication and congratulated the learners for their hard work throughout the year. She motivated the learners further by saying, “Trust yourself and build on something positive.”

 

The event ended with joyful performances, award presentations, and a shared celebration of growth and achievement. It was a proud and memorable day for everyone who attended.
