THE 2025/2026 MISS MAPHALLE RESPLENDENT ICON IS BEAUTY PAGEANT

The contestants introduced themselves with their inspirations and mottos as well in opening. There was a line up of entertainment from local artists and dancers such as Khumo, Black sitxta group, Mahlasedi a letsatsi Chorus, Kill Yard group and drama that kept the audience entertained.

The contestants partaked in the first round of casual wear for presentation, second round of career wear along with presentations, third round of creative wear, fourth round of swimwear walk, followed by the fifth round of an evening dress parade and intelligency test for the top 3 selection which is the Queen, 1st and 2nd princesses.

In the Miss Pre-teen contestants’ category was only participant named Lenyanyabedi Michelle who was automatically crowned as the Queen, meanwhile Shai Koketšo from Ga-Ramaroka was crowned as the Queen of Miss Teen Maphalle Resplendent Icon, Sambo Mikateko as the 1st princess from Fototo Village and Serekele Tebogo from Maphalle Village as the 2nd princess.

Sambo Mikateko obtained the 1st position of being the best dressed, Maphalle Kagiso as the best entrepreneur, Molele Zandile was crowned as the public choice winner category, Radjadji Makosha as the ambassador of Miss Maphalle Resplendent Icon, Sekgota Manuel as the best confident contestant and lastly Sekhwela Lebo was crowned Miss Maphalle Resplendent Icon Personality.

The Queen was awarded with a prize of R1000 and a trophy, the 1st princess with R750 and the 2nd princess with R500.

Parents were given a motive of why they should always root for their children’s dreams endlessly as they are the future Miss South Africa and Miss Universe.
