THE ELDERLY MAN WHO WAS REPORTED MISSING HAS BEEN FOUND AND RETURNED HOME SAFELY

TLHOHLOKWE VILLAGE | Morwasehla Phetole Solomon has been found this morning, Wednesday 14 January 2026 after a search was conducted by the community. He was spotted in nearby bushes close to a river.

The elderly man was attempting to cross the river on his way home, but was unable to do so due to heavy rainfall, which caused the river to overflow. As a result, he became stranded and remained in the bushes.

Community members assisted in locating and rescuing him from the area where he was stranded.

He has been safely found and reunited with his family. His condition is stable.

The family has expressed gratitude to all community members who assisted in the search and safe recovery.
