THE MENTALLY CHALLENGED 59-YEAR-OLD MISSING MAN WHO WAS REPORTED MISSING HAS BEEN FOUND AND RETURNED HOME SAFELY

MADUMELENG VILLAGE | The mentally challenged 59-year-old man, Mashao Ngwako Theophilus, who was previously reported missing, was found in the early hours of Tuesday, 17 March 2026.

According to the information received from the Mashao family, Ngwako was found asleep at Mmakhomu’s mountain, near Satlaleni. It is believed that the time he spent in the veld without food and water, left him weak and exhausted. He was immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Community members played an important role in conducting a search, which was a success in locating him.

Ngwako has been reunited with his family, and his condition is reported to be stable.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the search and helped ensure the safe return of Mashao Ngwako Theophilus.
