BREAKING NEWS | The reported missing Joseph Machipi was found deceased with bullets wounds on his body in the bushes at a local farm outside Ga-Maphalle after the massive search operation by the Police K9 Search and Rescue, Modjadjiskloof SAPS, Canine Security Dog unit and the community members.
Joseph Machipi was last seen on Monday 18 January 2026 going to hunt in the bushes and was reportedly shot. While searching, the tracing dogs led them to the body and he was certified dead. The farm owner is still at large.
The Police, Emergency Medical Services and the Forensics pathology services responded to the scene.
