BELLEVUE VILLAGE | Cheerful parents, excited teachers, together with the little proud graduates, gathered at Tumelo ke Khomotšo Day Care Centre for the preschool graduation ceremony. This event took place on Thursday, the 4th of November 2025.
The Royal Council led by Chief Ramahlo P, Day Care Centre Managers, a special guest speaker by the name of Rendani as well as Ntsako the Poet, all graced the event with their presence. Teachers from Ramollo Primary School were also there to welcome the young graduates into their next phase of schooling. Ntsako the Poet cited a poem based on GBVF, accompanied by the young graduates with GBVF posters, some even holding candles.
The young graduates, some of them aged four, confidently rendered items in the five senses, pre-school colours and four shapes, picking their names, writing and spelling out their names, and numbers which was in part 2 of the programme of academic lessons. Parents cheered loudly as their children demonstrated readiness to take on Grade R.
The Tumelo ke Khomotšo Day Care Centre staff highlighted the importance of early childhood education, saying events like this are a reminder to communities that the foundation of learning starts at a young age. The principal of the centre Miss Mdaka S.M, said that they are incredibly proud of how far the children have come. They have learned to share, to play, to be kind and most importantly to enjoy and learning.
Parents expressed gratitude to the teachers for their patience and care, calling the graduation a beautiful moment and a milestone worth celebrating.
The ceremony concluded with with singing and dancing from Meneer Man-Jeff and his group.
