TZANEEN POLICE LAUNCH MANHUNT FOR THREE MALE SUSPECTS IN BRUTAL KILLING OF AN UNKNOWN MAN IN TZANEEN CBD

TZANEEN – The Tzaneen police are appealing for information following the murder of an unknown male victim in Tzaneen Central Business District (CBD) on Saturday 28 March 2026 at about 02:00.

The police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba reports that the police patrols spotted the victim lying injured on the street next to Mr Build Hardware. They found him with serious head injuries and alerted the members of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) who transported him to hospital.

Three suspects were seen fleeing the scene but escaped into the bushes.

Despite efforts to save the unknown male at the medical facility, he eventually succumbed to his injuries in the morning at about 10:00.

The motive of the incident and identity of the deceased are currently unknown at this stage.

Police are appealing to the members of the community to assist with any information that may lead to the identification of the deceased and the apprehension of the unknown male suspects.
