Matipane protest resumes this morning

LIVE REPORTING | The Matipane protest has resumed due to the lack of implementation of the agreement between Eskom, Greater Letaba Municipality, and the community. The community had endured an electricity outage since 02 December 2025, resulting from a transformer explosion, and thw community was promised a resolution by 12 January 2026, but no communication or action has been taken as of 15 January 2026. Matipane road has been closed. Motorists are advised to use R81 as alternative route to reach their destinations. #perfectradio
