BREAKING NEWS | A 22-year-old man drowned in a local river at Ga-Ramodumo

BREAKING NEWS | A 22-year-old man drowned in a local dam created during a road regravelling project at Ga-Ramodumo today, Sunday 08 February 2026 at about 14h00. According to information obtained from the family and witnesses, the deceased came to the dam and found two men doing laundry as usual. He then told them he wanted to bathe and during the process, he drowned. An attempt to rescue him was made but was unsuccessful. Perfect Radio was contacted to alert the police to activate Search and Rescue police divers. While awaiting their arrival, a passerby, a Zimbabwean man, entered the dam and retrieved the body. The police, Emergency Medical Services and the Forensics pathology services responded to the scene. Perfect Radio news reporter Raymond Selowa will be speaking to the family and those who were there.
