BREAKING NEWS | A teenage boy drowned in a local dam at Ga-Maupa

BREAKING NEWS | The Search and Rescue police divers retrieved a lifeless body of a teenage boy after he drowned in a dam created during stone mining at Ga-Maupa mountain this morning, Friday, 06 February 2026. The incident took place at about 16h00 yesterday, Thursday, 05 February 2026. The community members searched for the drowned boy the whole night without any success. The police Search and Rescue divers responded to the scene this morning and the body was successfully retrieved in less than 5 minutes.
