Moleketla community protest for ESKOM

Community members at Ga-Moleketla took it to the street following a lack of electricity, which has been ongoing since 06 September 2025, resulting from a burned transformer in ward 09, Greater Tzaneen Municipality The community reported the issue to their ward councilor, but the matter was not resolved. Eskom was notified, but instead of repairing the transformer, they conducted a house-to-house search and issued fines of R6000 to all households, except three, for bridged electricity. The community is seeking assistance in resolving this electricity issue peacefully. Listen as Perfect Radio news reporter Tashia Monyela speaks with the affected community members.
