BUTA OPENS NEW TAXI ROUTE FROM MOKWAKWAILA TO TZANEEN

BOLOBEDU - The Bolobedu United Taxi Association (BUTA) has established a new taxi route from Mokwakwaila Taxi Rank to Tzaneen Taxi Rank, including return trips, effective 01 May 2026, to assist passengers in reaching their destinations safely and on time. The Rank Master Mr. BS Nkgapele spoke with Perfect Radio this morning to announce the new route from Mokwakwaila Taxi Rank to Tzaneen Taxi Rank and urged everyone to stop hitchhiking, as the route is now operational. The Bolobedu Long Distance Taxi Association also indicated that from 01 May, 2026, long-distance taxis to Gauteng will operate from Mokwakwaila Taxi Rank, offering free transport from Mokwakwaila Taxi Rank to catch a taxi in plartform Kgapane Taxi Rank for long-distance trips to Gauteng. Mr. Motswetla encourages passengers to provide suggestions at the BUTA/BULTA offices in Modjadjiskloof or with the Mokwakwaila Taxi Rank queue marshal to ensure taxis operate satisfactorily, especially when encountering problems such as inability to access taxis or experiencing abuse by taxi drivers.
