Jamela community protest against poor service delivery by the government

BOLOBEDU TODAY | The R81 road has been reopened after community members from Jamela village in ward 19 of the Greater Letaba Municipality staged a protest against the Department of Roads, Public Works and Infrastructure. The protesters cited poor service delivery, specifically highlighting the recent bridges built by the the Department of Roads, Public Works and Infrastructure that were swept away due to alleged poor workmanship. They further claim that when they visited the municipality offices to lodge their complaints, they were physically assaulted by the bouncers. The public order police are monitoring the situation.
