MDM Acting Executive Mayor, Cllr Lucky Mohlala outlines the progress report for 3rd quarter

LISTENABLE | Acting Executive Mayor of Mopani District Municipality, Cllr Lucky Mohlala, today outlined the municipality’s progress report for the 3rd quarter of the 2025/26 financial year during an interview with Perfect Radio News. The interview took place at the Mayoral Imbizo held at Lulekani Community Hall in Ba-Phalaborwa. The Imbizo provided a platform for the municipality to account to residents on service delivery performance, financial management, and key projects implemented during the third quarter. Cllr Mohlala highlighted progress made across core service areas including water and sanitation, roads and infrastructure, waste management, and local economic development initiatives. He reaffirmed council’s commitment to improving service delivery and engaging directly with communities through platforms such as the Mayoral Imbizo. Residents who attended the Imbizo also raised service delivery concerns and engaged the Mayor directly on issues affecting their wards.
