GA-KGAPANE | Subayi family at Old Manningburg, Ga-Kgapane, ward 04 under Greater Letaba Municipality, has raised serious concerns about a damaged sewage system that has been left unattended for years. According to the family representative Annah Subayi, the sewage issue, located near the main hall, has persisted despite multiple attempts to seek assistance from the Greater Letaba Municipality. A raw sewage flows around her home, creating an unbearable living situation that severely affects her family’s living conditions, including posing a health risk to her 3-month-old baby. "We reported the matter to the ward councillor, Greater Letaba Municipality, and the Limpopo Department of Agriculture, but no action has been taken to resolve the situation, our hope is on PerfectRadio for community assistance." said Annah Subayi. Perfect Radio news reporter Rebotile Malatji engaged with Greater Letaba Municipality spokesperson Lovers Maenetje regarding the matter and her response was that, they are busy with investigations and further she is no longer replying the texts or calls.
