A MOTHER SEEKS URGENT PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING HER MISSING 23-YEAR-OLD SON

GA-BOQA | Francina Machete is seeking urgent public assistance in locating her 23-year-old son, Ofentse Machete, who has been missing since Wednesday, 24 June 2026.

According to his mother, Ofentse is renting accommodation in Tembisa Duduza, and she last contacted him by phone on the day he allegedly disappeared. She said it is unusual for him to go for such a long period without communicating and added that he allegedly sounded frightened during their last conversation.

As a concerned parent, she contacted his landlord, who allegedly confirmed that Ofentse was last seen at the rental premises on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, the same day he was reported missing.

According to the landlord, Ofentse was last seen wearing black ripped jeans, a black shirt, a black jacket and white DH takkies.

It has now been two weeks since Ofentse disappeared, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
