MAYOR ODAS NGOBENI SPENDS 67 MINUTES AT RADOO OLD AGE HOME FOR MANDELA DA

XIHOKO | Greater Tzaneen Municipality Mayor, Cllr Odas Ngobeni, joined by the Speaker of Council, Cllr Sannie Tiba, and Cllr Thabo Maunatlala, dedicated his 67 minutes to community service at Radoo Old Age Home in observance of Mandela Day.

Together with the Community Services Department, they painted, cleaned the facility, planted trees, and shared lunch with 60 pensioners.

The activity forms part of the municipality’s Mandela Month programme, aimed at honoring the legacy of Nelson Mandela through acts of service and compassion.

Mayor Ngobeni said spending time with the elderly reflects the municipality’s commitment to caring for vulnerable groups and building a united community.
