POLICE SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO LOCATE MISSING 70-YEAR-OLD WOMAN

MOLETLANE – Police in Moletlane under the Capricorn District are appealing to members of the public for assistance in locating Sarah Mokgaetji Kekana (70), who was reported missing after she disappeared on Saturday, 02 May 2026.

According to information available, the missing woman allegedly left her residence in Moletlane at approximately 13:00, intending to travel to Magatle Village to visit her parental home and thereafter proceed to her younger brother’s residence at Magatle New Stand, where a family ceremony was taking place.

It is reported that she never arrived at either of the intended destinations, and her whereabouts remain unknown.

Preliminary information further reveals that before leaving Moletlane, she was reportedly seen by a known woman before departing for Magatle.

Police have since launched a search operation and are requesting anyone with information that may assist in locating Sarah Mokgaetji Kekana to immediately contact the Investigating Officer, Detective Sergeant Matsobane Elmon Seloma, on 083 471 0178, or contact the nearest police station, or call the Crime Stop number 08600 10111.
