THE EYES OF THE NATION WELCOMES THE ARREST OF THE GRANDPARENTS OF MISSING 2-YEAR-OLD

GA-MABUELA | The Eyes of the Nation welcomes the arrest of the grandparents of missing 2-year-old Omphile Sithole from Ga-Mabuela Village in Tinmyne/Waterberg on charges of child negligence.

“We strongly condemn the negligence shown by the grandparents. Those entrusted with the care of children must be held accountable and must face the full force of the law.” Says Mr Fannie Kgopa CEO of the Eyes of the Nation

The Eyes of the Nation appeals to all parents and caregivers to take responsibility and protect their children at all times. We also call on our communities to report any cases of child neglect or abuse immediately. Silence allows harm to continue.

Eyes of the Nation says, no child should go missing or suffer because of adult failure. TEON will continue to stand with vulnerable children and demand justice.
