BOLOBEDU COMMUNITY CELEBRATES HERITAGE DAY AT KHEHLAKONI

Attending the event was Khehlakoni Royal Council, Representatives of Greater Letaba Local Municipality, Khebhebhe Team and Samanthole Institute of Creative Arts.

Traditional groups such as Khekhabha kha Khosi, Pikoko Dinaka tsa Motala, Konkoriti Arts Academy(young girls), Mabapolankwe Traditional Group, Tsakane Traditional Group and Dinaka Boys graced the floor with performances.

Moses D Rasekele from Khebhebhe Center for the Arts stated that it makes him happy to see Balobedu heritage, culture, history and tradition being preserved and celebrated.

Ms Ramaremela from Greater Letaba Municipality has emphasized on the importance of preserving Balobedu culture and showcasing our culture.
