BREAKING NEWS | A DECOMPOSED BODY OF NEWBORN BABY GIRL DISCOVERED AT THE BLUEGUM TREES FARM IN POLITSI

POLITSI | The body of a newborn baby girl has been discovered in a state of decomposition at a the bluegum trees farm in Politsi , Modjadjiskloof policing area, today, Wednesday, 09 September 2026.

According to information received, farm employees were busy working at the bluegum trees when they found a lifeless body of infant wrapped in baby blankets and a black refuse bag.

The police and the Emergency services were summoned to the scene and certified death. The body has been transported to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination.

The mother of the deceased baby is unknown at this stage.

The police have opened an inquest docket and investigations are underway.
