COMMUNITY SEARCH FOR MISSING ELDERLY MAN CONTINUES TO DAY FIVE

MOHLABANENG VILLAGE | The community search for missing elderly man, Teko Hendrick Komotere continued into its fifth day at Sefofotse Village on Thursday, 17 September 2026.

Komotere has been missing since Sunday, 13 September 2026. Family and community members continued searching various areas, but he has not yet been found.

People who were collecting firewood in the area reportedly spotted someone believed to be Komotere. There were also reports that learners from Mamokgadi may have seen him. But, these reports have not yet been confirmed.

Police officers, accompanied by search dogs, are expected to join the search tomorrow, Friday, 18 September 2026, at around 09H00.

The family and community are appealing to anyone with information regarding Komotere’s whereabouts to kindly please come forward and assist with the search.
