KHEROTHOLE FAMILY CELEBRATES HERITAGE SITE IN GA-KURANTA

The event brought together family members, both Kherothole and Malefofane Society members, community members, representatives from the municipality, members of the Royal House and other distinguished guests who joined the family in marking the occasion.

The celebration focused on preserving the family’s history, honouring their roots and keeping their traditions alive for future generations.

A member of the Kherothole Society encouraged the youth and other attendees to pay attention to and learn from events of this nature, saying they provide an opportunity for people to understand their history, heritage and where they come from.

The celebration also provided an opportunity for family and society members to share stories and memories about the heritage site and its significance to the Kherothole family.

The family expressed hope that the heritage site will continue to bring people together while encouraging younger generations to learn about, preserve and take pride in their family heritage.
