LIVE | MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR LATE MANKOBI RAPHOTLE UNDERWAY IN MADIBENG VILLAGE

MADIBENG VILLAGE | The memorial service for the late Mankobi Rodney Raphotle, affectionately known as Maima, is currently underway this evening, Thursday, 27 August 2026 in Madibeng Village, ward 06, Greater Letaba Municipality.

The service is attended by SADTU, the Mamelodi Sundowns branch, local Masters clubs including Rapho Kickers FC, Rapitsi Masters, Iketleng Masters, Super Warriors FC and local church members, family and friends who have gathered to remember and celebrate the life of the late Mankobi Raphotle.

Mankobi, a dedicated teacher at Mahlavezulu Primary School in Nwamitwa, is being remembered as a community builder, founder of Rapho Kickers FC, Team Maima clothing brand, Balobedu A-Team Hiking Club, football lover and unifier.

The family has confirmed that a Candle Light service will be held tomorrow, Friday, 28 August 2026 at 19h00 in Madibeng Village, followed by the Funeral Service on Saturday, 29 August 2026 at 06h30 in Madibeng Village.
