MAYOR JOINS SEARCH OPERATION FOR MISSING PERSONS AT SEDAWA VILLAGE

SEDAWA VILLAGE – The Mayor of Maruleng Local Municipality, Cllr Tsheko Musolwa, has joined search and rescue teams at Sedawa Village as efforts continue to locate two missing persons. Kgashane Shai, aged 26, and one-year-old Loyte Pako Mokgotho have been missing since April 2026, leaving their families and communities in deep distress.

 

During his visit, Mayor Musolwa met with the affected families and rescue teams, offering words of support and reassurance. He emphasized the Municipality’s commitment to working around the clock alongside all relevant stakeholders to ensure every possible effort is made to find the missing individuals.

 

The Maruleng Municipality spokesperson, Mr. Justice Shipalana, says the municipality continues to appeal to community members to assist with any information that may aid in the search.
