MAYOR ODAS NGOBENI FULFILS PROMISE TO BUILD HOUSE FOR ELDERLY MAN IN MARIRONI VILLAGE

This forms part of the Mayor’s community outreach programme, after he found Mr Mahasha living in a severely dilapidated mud house that was unsafe and not suitable for human habitation.

During today’s visit, Mayor Ngobeni also handed over food parcels and announced that a fridge, bed and stove will be delivered to Mr Mahasha this coming weekend.

A grateful Mr Mahasha thanked Cllr Ngobeni for his unwavering commitment to assisting vulnerable residents of Greater Tzaneen, saying life was very difficult for him during heavy rains, but now he will be able to live with dignity like other people.

“Greater Tzaneen Municipality remains committed to restoring the dignity of its residents.” Concluded Mayor Ngobeni
