MAYOR ODAS NGOBENI MONITORS PROGRESS ON PETANENGE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

PETANENGE VILLAGE- After handing over a soccer kit to Golden Gogos FC in Nkowankowa Section C, Greater Tzaneen Municipality Mayor, Cllr Odas Ngobeni, accompanied by Speaker of Council, Cllr Sanie Tiba, and Council Whip, Cllr Given Malatji, proceeded to the Petanenge Village pedestrian bridge construction site to monitor progress today, Wednesday, 23 September 2026.

The contractor briefed the municipal leadership on work completed to date. The project is currently at 25% physical progress, with 40% of the scheduled construction period having elapsed.

Mayor Odas Ngobeni said they will continue to monitor the project to ensure implementation progresses in accordance with approved plans and required standards.
