MEC VIOLET MATHYE HANDS OVER 30 MORE SHOVAKALULA BICYCLES AT MAKOBO SECONDARY

GA WALE | MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Violet Mathye, proceeded to Makobo Secondary School in Ga Wale on Wednesday, 29 July 2026 to hand over 30 more Shovakalula bicycles to learners.

The handover followed an earlier event at Pulane Secondary School in Block 05 Village where 50 bicycles were delivered this morning.

MEC Mathye said the Shovakalula Bicycle Project is aimed at reducing the distance learners walk, improving safety and ensuring learners arrive at school on time.

She was joined by Acting HoD Paul Mainganyi and Cllr Maunatlala of Greater Tzaneen Municipality.
