MEET THE NEW HEALTH MEC: EDDIE MAILA.

Meet the new MEC for the Department of Health, Mr Eddie Maila.

Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality (FTLM) Mayor Eddie Maila resigned today, 02 September 2026, to take over as Limpopo MEC for Health.

Maila replaces Dieketseng Mashego in the portfolio.

He was sworn in today as part of Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba’s newly reconstituted Limpopo Executive Council.
